Winter

Details for the next few weeks:

Indoor:
This week we will begin playing indoor. We use the upstairs intramural gym (by the dance studios). After a week or so, we will work out a schedule for playing/working out/learning. For now, we'll just play (co-ed).

Frozen Disc of Death:
This weekend we will be sending one co-ed team to Dartmouth for their annual tournament. We will play against a lot of good teams that will offer us strong competition. This is always a very fun time. More info about when we are leaving will be provided later in the week.

Please let the captains know if you are planning on going this weekend.

Hampshire Tourney

This weekend is our second-to-last tournament of the fall season and we hope to get a good turnout! It's a one day tournament (Saturday) at Hampshire College.

Rookies - this will be a great opportunity to get some playing time.
Non-Rookies - This will be a tournament for you to try different positions ( i.e. Jeff handling), and prove that you are worthy of freshman adoration and lore.

If you are interested in going please let Mike D know. Indicate your preference of leaving mid-day Friday and staying with the D's, or leaving saturday morning. Highlights staying at the D's will most certainly include:
dinner, breakfast, board games, ultimate videos, every macintosh computer know to man, and Mr. Pistrang regaling you with stories of how to invent throws (i.e. Forehand).

PS: We are sending a co-ed team to Dartmouth for Frozen Disc of Death the weekend of November 17/18

Good work at RPI this weekend.

We made it to the finals, and played a great game, losing on universe point.

Everybody who came out did a great job, keep up the good work.

Note: Check out the team profiles and the rest of our fall schedule under Important Links on the right. Let me know if you have a picture to add.

One of the best tournaments we go to. Everybody should come along.

Fall Scheduling

We are in the process of planning what weekends we go away to tournaments this fall. Please let us know what you think in the poll.

Back at School

Now that people are starting to come back to school, we will start meeting regularly to throw around, and eventually scrimmage. Currently there is a tent set up on the Library Green where we often scrimmage, so if you show up and nobody is there, look around by the pond, or maybe in front of Weicking, and you will find us.

A New Year

Welcome incoming freshmen and returning Wombats.

We are all very excited to start the year and get some frisbee back in our system, as well as meet all the new students who wish to join the team.

As the school year begins, we will be holding practices every day at 4PM on the Library Green. After the first week or so, we will meet in front of Case Center and then drive over to our fields on Denton Road.

Also, we will hold a general meeting sometime in the first few weeks of school, at which we can give more information about what the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons will entail.

Please feel free to email the captains with any questions.

-Mike D, Skidmore Captain #38
